- Mr El-Shazly qualified in 1978.
- In 1995 he worked as a Knee Foundation Knee Fellow at Droitwich Knee Clinic. In 1996 became a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield.
- He now works on a full time basis at Droitwich Knee Clinic
- A member of the Knee Foundation's Clinical Advisory Board.
- Regularly teaches on the Knee Foundation's Arthroscopy Workshops, Acute Knee Courses, Nurses Study Day and Physiotherapy Courses.
Special Interests
- Complex Trauma, Osteosynthesis, External Fixators, Limb Reconstruction, Nonunions, Malunions, Bone Lengthening using monolateral & circular external fixators.
- Ankle and Foot arthrodeses
- Chronic Osteomyelitis & Infected nonunions
Sports injuries to include: knee/ arthroscopic surgery, patellofemoral problems, anterior cruciate lesions, articular cartilage defects, lateral ligament injuries of the ankle in athletes.
