Registered Charity
The Knee Foundation is a registered charity (Number 1004606), and has been operating since 1991 supporting a Fellowship programme, running educational courses and publishing research. We have a small library of relevant journals, books and a large collection of videos and images.
Our Vision
We wish to build and resource a dedicated unit, with a clear research strategy and a more focused Fellowship programme. This unit is currently under development and staff are building a comprehensive set of ‘new media’ skills – web design and maintenance, photography, graphic design and image manipulation, video production and non-linear video editing with audio.
We aim to build our collection of images and videos into a powerful resource.
We are aiming to build endowment funds to fund in perpetuity the Fellowships and Patient Grants.
